Yes ladies and gentlemen the mark in black is the savings over the next 10 years that was decided on in the final debt negotiations. That small sliver right there is what the Republicans were willing to let America default over. Now of course John Stewart is making light of the situation, he’s a comedian it’s what he does. But it is definitely not something that Americans should be taken lightly.

The deal also provided for a creation of a super Congress to find

even more cuts to make in the long-term. This new body is made up of the usual suspects even old man McCain is in the mix.
