I think everyone can agree that the debt ceiling situation is way past ridiculous. We can also agree that most politicians are more self-interested than people interested. In this case the people aren’t in favor of how the Republicans are handling the negotiations. It also seems the Republicans themselves aren’t in approval of each other either as the internal disagreements have some again asking if it’s the end of the party as we know it.

The Republican leadership is holding up the whole country and putting people’s lives in jeopardy during one of the worst financial situations since the great depression for their own self interests.
