How China Is Dominating America In Clean Tech
Say what you will about China, and there is a lot to say, but today in clean tech innovation it is owning America. Why is this significant? Well because America is America or at least was. America used to be the standard of innovation, used to be the trailblazer in everything across the board. That image of America still has traction in the world which is why people still flock to America for education even though we’ve fallen to “average” in the world rankings.
The fact is we used to be the top creators and innovators in the world. After globalization corporations moved jobs overseas and looked for cheaper labor, higher profit for an inferior product and control over their respective industries. Competition that was supposed to fuel progress became conglomerates that stifled competitors and created stagnation. Instead of working towards the future and adopt and adapt to newer, better, cleaner methods (which is what progress and enlightenment is) America and American companies continue to try to hold on to
what will keep them in control and maintain unsustainable and detrimental profit margins and income disparities.
